Just be glad you didn't hit anything! My local friend with a cammed G8 GT let his get away from him about a month ago and almost totalled his car. It's being fixed under insurance but there was over 16 grand in damage to the car. You've got a ton of power in your car. I can see it getting away from you VERY easily with cam/heads AND a 2300.

I've always wanted to do a track day so I can know just how fast the car can handle.

Pete, spend some $ on a better set of rears - those 20's are not doing you any good on regular tires!

Im all ears... Nittos? Mt's? Fenders aren't rolled, but wouldn't let that stop me. Ideally id want same outer diameter from a tuning standpoint.

Mickey is the closest bet in the ET Street Radial - 305/35 20....but that would put you at 28.4" diameter... What's your current rear tire size? Probably require a bit of rolling of the fenders...

Goodyear's F1 Supercar G2 series is actually a great all-around summer tire, from what I hear (but uber-expensive).

I have an extra set of camaro rears that I could mount them on, so they wouldnt "have" to be used for daily driving.
