After replacing it 3 times I finally bought a kit they used to sell and I screwed in some metal angle brackets ..small ones and its been holding for 4 years. People are using zip ties with no issues too

Over 4 years ago I drilled a hole and zip tied my original while I waited for the new one I ordered to ship. The new panel is still on my parts shelf as the zip tie repair has stood up to the test of time.

Didn't see this until now. It's going. Grade 2 sprain on top of a small break at the end of the bone. Most of the paint and swelling is gone, but still have soreness to the touch, and mobility of the ankle is still not up to 100%.
