For a road course, yes. Street pads at a drag strip are fine and aren't really the OP's concern right now anyway.

Yea you should look into a full slick if you can. MT makes a 26" full slick in 17" the Hoosier 28" would be too tall since you are on stock stall.

Finding a 17in rim to clear my rear brembo brakes is the problem. I have to go 18in.

I have corvette z06 Spyder rims just saving for radials. I was trying to avoid getting radials since I go to the track about 3 times a year.

Yea putting on those rear brembo makes it more costly, thats why i swaped back to stock to run the last few times then swaped back and sold the 17". I gave up going to the 1/4, now its road coarse.

Slap the c5z wheels on and a 305 mt and youll have all the hook you need. I was debating going that route but I dont think I need that much tire, same dilemma with the brembos tho.

after some larger injectors and a zl1 fuel pump, radials are next. Hopefully I can run it during the little winter we have here in Florida

What times do you guys think? I'm thinking 11.3

If you can get the 60ft down in the 1.7ish range it is a 11.30s car with ease.
