If you paid big bux for an axleback the seller claimed didn't drone and after you put them on, found the drone was so bad even you couldn't stand it, you'd do almost anything to find a solution. It was either that or sell them and return to stock, but the stock system has no appeal to my ears, and I'm WAY older than all of you. This mod makes music to me and, as you can see, does not show up at all.
Oh, by the way, pull a muffler off of a new Camaro. Now that's double ugly as sin! I bet those owners can't wait for aftermarket parts!

Anyone have a guess about how much it would cost to have someone at a muffler shop make these?
Your G8 already sounds like that! How about some pictures of what you've done for the folks to look at?

My guess the biggest variance would be in what tips you chose and whether you went with aluminized steel or stainless for the piping. I do know that my muffler guy said he could have made up the axlebacks for a heck of a lot less than what I originally paid, but I think that's usually the case when we see somebody else's store-bought stuff.
