    Take me instead....

It's clear that Charlie touched the lives of many, near and far. More than I can say about myself as a person. I recently lost my aunt to cancer. She was a single mother of 5 after her husband committed suicide 34 years ago.

Why does cancer always take the good people in our lives??

It's hard watching people in their final stages. You want them to stay so very badly but when you see the pain they're in, the acceptance starts settling in. It's hard to describe. One that can only be experienced. Really hard to even talk about because it's bringing up old memories.

I'm hoping for the best. Stay strong, here and forever.

P.S. I'm sorry for being a lurking pussy.

I can tell you guys that Wendy is overwhelmed by the spirit of giving from our small community. Charlie is in a lot of pain, and is going to fight this the whole way.

I was on the road yesterday and talked to quite a few of you. It does help to deal with this when you have so many friends from this forum to talk to. I have Charlie to thank for it.
It made me cry this morning to read this thread to see so many come back and post their thoughts and their prayers. It matters not if your a founding member or just joined this month. Your support is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!
    Ray
    Rest in Peace Charlie!

I thought about this all night, and the only conclusion I can come to is: The Powers Above must have bought a G8 and needed some mod advice and wrenching assistance. Might be greedy of God, but at least he's getting one of the best.

I can still remember the day I joined this forum. 5 years ago. I didn't even have a g8. But tge first person who welcomed me to the family was Charlie. A few years later I bought my g8 and Charlie was the first to know. Over the years we have enough talked. But now I wish I would have got to know him more. This hurts my heart deeply. This family we have here wouldn't be the same if Charlie wasn't here. And as for Wendy. I'm so sorry. My prayers go out to you and your family.

    We all love you Charlie.

It really terrible to hear about bad things happening to good people and even worse to try and talk about it. Charlie has been a great guy to a lot of people and what he has done is something to be proud of, he will be missed. Best wishes, thoughts, and prays to the people he has to leave behind.
