Congrats Doug... a couple of us guinea pigged this one... theres a VERY slight delay as it builds pressure under tip-in and reacts to throttle/boost... but otherwise is amazing and has proven to be very reliable!!! Good luck and enjoy!!!

I appreciate everyone's efforts who have already done this; those of us following you are the beneficiaries! My old setup worked for a while but I expect even with a slight delay, this setup is going to be much better all the around than my stock pump running at 20V at full boost! I look forward to taking it for a drive when Rick finishes it up Saturday!

Doug you'll love the new setup.... Rick if you come into to any problems with the install just let me know because I probably had the same issue. Don't forget to cut the tab in rotate the pump counter clockwise so the fuel gauge is correct.

Rick / others - I have what may be a dumb question. I read the Camaro 5 board from time to time, and it looks like getting 600+ rwhp with just a pulley, "balancer", CAI and tune is not too difficult with the ZL-1. And that's without headers or even a catback.

I have a GXP with a more aggressive cam (but still stock) than the LSA and I'm contemplating a maggie. However, I don't see those types of numbers with other that have installed maggies. Can someone just put the pulley, CAI and tune kit on a 1900/2300 on a G8 and see these types of numbers? If not, what are the differences? I understand that with the GT cam, it creates too much boost - but i have quite a bit more lift than a GT or LSA. It seems like maggie'd GXPs are only putting down 550 range with aftermarket cams.
2009 MSM GT. Kooks mids, Corsa, CAI, Comp Thumpr 219/233 on a 114LSA and tune. 370 rwhp, 371 rwtq - Sold.
    2009 PBM M6 GXP. Corsa, Rotofab CAI and tune - 404 rwhp and 404 rwtq. Maggie 2300 to come . . .

The power is the same, the motors are 6.0 vs 6.2 but it is just dynos and tunes where you see the difference. ZL1 is a completely different setup for a supercharger so getting power out if a ZL1 vs a 2300 is different. For a GXP, upgrade the valve springs, get 1.85 rockers, pulley the blower 3.0, add methanol injection, and you'll have plenty of power.

I'll eventually follow and do a fuel pump like you have along with methanol injection.

Porting my blower this coming weekend, I have all the non-ferrous grinding bits showing up tomorrow. Any tips or anything I should be weary of while grinding away?
