Looking to work on suspention in the fall. I've been told that that a good set of shocks really helps track times. Looking into Viking performance setup at this time.

On an honest dyno I think you'll be @ 550 rwhp. As others have said, it is an arbitrary number. Get the the track and your trap speed will tell the true story.
Thanks for the info and advice on this tread.

Like have it pointed in the right direction when going full throttle at anything less than 70 mph.

Also make sure you have good street tires and make sure the tires and road have some heat in them.

My pleasure. If you haven't looked in to a set of dedicated wheels and drag radials, you should.

I had bought snow tires and rims back in 09 and have used them each winter when the car was my daily driver but now I don't plan on driving it in the snow. The rims and tires are in my profile information, there 18" rims but only 8" wide. I'd like to maybe get a different rim setup that is a bit wider than 8" but not too wide that I'll have to roll the fenders. Any suggestions?

You better put at least a 9" out back and don't even waste your time with anything all season if you want to be able to hammer on it without a smokeshow.

I'm not sure what sticky 18" tire you could run on your current wheels. Perhaps others can chime in. If it were me, I'd sell what you have and put that money towards a set of 17" wheels and drag radials. Keep an eye on the for sale section of both the G8 and CTSV forums.
Find a shop local to you that is familiar with rolling fenders. It isn't rocket science, but you don't want to be someone's guinea pig either.

    Default Heartbeat Magnuson Supercharger Build

I run new 275 Toyo t1 sports all around and they don't stand a chance from a dig. Complete smoke show through 3rd gear. They don't stop spinning until I let off....lol

Definitely need a designated track set up if you plan to race it.

I will probably buy something eventually that's a little stickier but it won't be great with my 6piston baer brake set up as they need to probably be 19-20's

6 piston front AND rear or front only? 6/4 front rear should fit under 18" front and 17" rear. That's what I run with V2 6/4's.
