Made it to Ruidoso from Albuquerque and has a nice ride with a few fun runs up to 1.2.0 to 1.3.0 and smooth as a baby's ass and wanted to just keep pulling and came in the back way on 380. I still ended up getting 25 mpg

Well I just got back from a 2300 miles run and the Rat performed like a champ! Yesterday leaving Ruidoso I was able to drive 5.5 hours and got 26.1 mpg and could of gone another 100 miles but I did not want to run the tank that empty.

The last tank I got 25.8 mpg running 80.

I did have to pass a few slow movers and wet WOT a few times today and WOW, when that kicks in the fucking car scoots and drops to 3 gear at 70 or so and runs up to 110 real fast and the ass just squats and the 6.0 comes alive.

Got to Love the Holden. Tomorrow I take her for a Royal Purple Oil change and filter and then back in the garage to rest and then a Adams Bubble bath and detail.
Now Im drinking a Cold Natural Light, yum

That's some road trip and the G8 can really rack up the miles and is comfy too. I've done 450 miles in a day, got 26 mpg and didn't feel tired out.

Picker up a temp intake for the G8. Now it just needs assembly.

You guys just reminded me to line up my annual oil change. Currently 40F, want to wait for a warmer day but....

Finally got the RSAs off (25k mi), replaced with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S3s. My son busted on me for waiting 5 years.

I finally figured out why my 3rd brake light was flopping around, previous owner or whoever tinted it only put one of the three screws back in to hold it to the headliner. It's nice and tight against the glass now.

Ignored it, spent all day caring for an X5. They are soooooo needy & expensive.
