    Default Squeaky shifter???

Hello all, I have a squeaky shifter, it sounds like plastic rubbing plastic or something. Anyone else have this problem??? It occurs at cruising speeds in auto. It seems to go away when i hit the knob or push the shifter toward the backseat, but comes back sporadically.

    Thanks.

Yeppers, I have it to. I think it is just the metal shift rod rubbing against the louvred plastic. Whenever I get around to throwing my parts in that require some wiring under the center console, I was going to put a little black felt right where it meets the shift rod. Hopefully that will shut her up.
