Default Leavin in a half hour for New Era... *EDIT TUNE IS DONE*

Tune day is today, its nice and cool right now, only gonna get in to the 40s and current humidity is only 59%, so Im hoping he can push this bitch up to 340whp Whatever, Im just happy its finally gonna match the intake and also for the improved tranny tune, Im so sick of this torque management! Wish me luck, I'll be sure to report the outcome once I get back

I've been there once, so I knew where it was, but I had to call the wife to get me the address because I couldnt remember exactly where on Buffalo Rd it was. Oops!

So baseline run came out as 321hp/344tq! Just an OTR, x-pipe and no reso's, and the Thrush mufflers. I really think that exhaust did quite a bit, because OTR only cars are typically dyno'ing at 315ish. Not bad for a $90 exhaust setup lol. When Mike first saw the numbers he even yelled "holy shit!" lol I think it was a quick moment of pride for this astounding intake he has created.

Next run came up with 328/352, and the final run pushed out 334/358, just absolutely mammoth torque. And the transmission shifting is sooo much better now, Drive mode is great for around town casual driving and Sport mode really ups the ante. It shifts like the car just does not want to lose momentum. Manual mode is definitely a lot more fun, and both Sport and Manual the rear end kicks out about 6" on the 1-2 shift.

So thats it, my car is finally done with the mods. NEP OTR, custom exhaust, HSRK, and the tune. Hopefully next week we'll see what she can do at the track

If you can make the trip to Rochester NY and have 3-4 hours to spend, I definitely recommend it

Heres a video of the 1st and 3rd runs. I recorded in 16x9 but for some reason my software captured it as 4:3 so I think its a little squished. Whatever, its all about the sound anyways

Where did you install the HSRK on the OTR? Easy install? Did you get from VMS? I am considering doing this as well on mine.

I actually dont have the HSRK installed. I guess I ordered the wrong one (for LS2's) and not the one for the G8. Oops So I gotta return that for the correct one.
