    Default High hp driveline parts

    OK, I am putting together a LS V8 high HP combination and would like feedback on driveline failures or what you used to strengthen the driveline e.g: what tail shaft donuts, axles, CV's. etc.

    Any assistance to help me avoid failures would be greatly appreciated.

    The two piece driveshaft OEM weighs ~ 36 pounds. I replaced mine with an 18 pound, one piece aluminum one, custom made from The Driveshaft Shop in Salisbury N.C. 800-564-2244. Had to remove the two piece and take a bunch of exact measurements and sadly they will not make anyone else one unless you also send exact measurements from your car. Bespoke only. Worth all the effort and price though. They will also make you a carbon fiber one for much more $.
