Stuck key
So my battery is fully charged and my key is stuck!!! The shift selector does click with pushing the brake. I also have constant power to my ignition solenoid! Does the solenoid open under power or under no power? I have swapped relays around an various things! The one thing i noticed was the r8 solenoid does get pretty warm!! Any suggestions or ideas wud be greatly appreciated!
In my case, it was a brass roll pin in the shifter stalk that had pushed to the right and wasn't engaging the little levers that unlock the key cylinder. Not bad to fix. Pop the console panel off, start taking the shifter apart, and it's there. I have a thread on g8board about it.

Oh, you shouldn't jiggle the key for so long. Technically speaking solenoid doesn't have the properties to get warmer/hotter. That means you are doing something wrong. Sometimes the physical force can pull the stuck keys, but it ends with complete damage to ignition wafers. Have you tried to contact a locksmith specialist? Local locksmith sw5 is a great choice with transparent prices and skilled specialists.
