    Question Wheel and tire fitment

Ok so i just got some new rear tires for my g8. Picked up some Michelin psas3 275/35r18s and i thought they were putting on 45s like the front end well they didn’t not i have a goofy look of michelin 35s on the rear and federal steel 45s on the front. So i was thinking well i can just move the mpsas3 275s to the front and maybe throw some 295/40r18s on the rear. To give it a proper stance maybe even 45s. I’m Running vivid racing mmr vp5s 18 inch wheels. Honestly the previous federal steel 275s i had before didn’t hook up well so going to a better tire and a wider stance might help it out.. was wanting some input on if i will have fitment issues going 295/40or45 on the rear and if the 275/35 will fit the front end without rubbing.. thanks..

I’m making 490 whp without spray thats why i’m looking for more meats on the rear 😉

You realize that the 35 or 45 denotes percentage of overall tire width to the size of the wheel.

So if you're running 245/45/18 front, a 275/40/18 rear would be overall the same height tire.

So you're only around 5% small on the rear compared to the front.
