    Default Shift Kits/Quicker Shifts

    Hello,
Has Anyone done a TransGo/B&M or any other brand shift kit upgrade? Did you like the results? I'm just talking about a do it yourself kit, not like a full on transmission upgrade kit, just like dropping the valve body and changing springs and that sort of stuff.
Also, how can we get quicker shifts out of these transmissions? The shifts are so slow in the semi-manual mode?
    thanks for any pointers.

It seems with today's electronically controlled transmissions that the installation of shift kits is a no-go and that to change the shifting behavior you do it by programming. So others will chime in with what tuners are available (i.e. HP tuners)
