Filmy new headlight?
I bought a new headlight on ebay. It came today and there is a crisscrossing pattern that looks greasy streaks on the inside of the lense. Or it could be runs of adhesive, not sure. But there is a fair amount of it. Has anyone had this kind of thing before? Will it eventually evaporate and be fine, will it gather any dust that gets in and look awful? It was cheap, and this is probably why. I can return it.

The description didn't say anything about the defect, and had only stock pics. So I knew rolled the dice. The seller said he can do an exchange. He has more headlights priced normal, so I have decent hopes.

The first filmy headlight I got was in a generic box and was packaged with reused packing material that didn't really fit right. I sent it back and they sent a new one. This one came brand new in a TYC branded box. So I got a really good deal, just had to have a little patience.
I'm getting Xpel films on these so hopefully the lenses won't start shedding their outer layers anytime soon.
