    Now that's a thread bump!
One owner used a band saw to cut off the back of the honeycomb on the left lower grill. I got one that he made then I followed Charlie's lead and made a block off panel mounted on the frame that helped keep the hot engine bay air out of the intake area and I made it long enough to get up to the back of the new grill opening and direct air to the bottom of the intake. Drilled some 1" holes in the plastic below the intake to drain water and added a screen to the bottom tip of the intake box (RotoFab) to keep big stuff out.
I thought it worked pretty good. Poor mans ram air system.
Then I went VCM and have been happy!
    RIP Charlie, The GRRRR8 One

VCM for the G8 is a straight shot, not sure on adapting that to the LSA as the intake is off to the side and angled? I don't see an OTR listed for those years CTSV either... anything has got to be better than stock tho

Should be able to fit the vcm magna charger adapter to work with the Lsa. I would say a 45* coupler in place if the straight one will do it.

I was thinking about trying this with a VCM or Vararam OTR on my LSA G8. Only thing is that the radiator is laid back a bunch with the OTR's and the throttle body sticks out further on the LSA. So it is very tight, maybe 3" of room between the intake and tb. The housing on the intake may need to be modified... Just saw that VCM made an adapter for the Heartbeat to use with 108mm tb and it changes the angle of the tb straight towards the front. Pics below

That's the one I'm talking about.
Only available in Australia. Vcm said they will ship it tho.
Probably $200 to get just to try it.
