Thanks guys! Had to do a bit of cutting and bending but got it on there now .

I had the same issue on mine. I just bent the bracket. Once you get it on, see if the hoses are sitting on the engine cover. Mine were and over time the hoses on the cover wore off the silver paint either from rubbing or just the heat.

Do you mean the heater hoses? I do have one touching towards the back of the cover. I'll have to look at what I can do there.

Also helps to remove the oil cap then put the cover on.

Yeah the heater hoses were touching the cover.
