    Default Stuck in the hole

Ok guys, need some thoughts here. What is the biggest reason in your opinion why my car will not 60'. Is it poor cam choice?( New Era high lift DOD cam, 234/232 .570/.570 113+2 I think. The stock rear gear? Poor converter choice? (PI Vigilante 3400) Stock rear suspension?(Fab work in progress but nothing yet) Bad tire and wheel combo?(GTO wheels, NT555r 275/40 17). Zero driving talent, or car/driver too fat. No weight shedding. Literally on a good day ill cut 1.8's....... Im not doing something right. Trying to get this right before I start launching with any type of power adder.

1.8 in what kind of weather? Summer heat typically slowed my 60' times on my cammed G8.

I'm curious why you have a reverse split cam? Might as well throw a maggie on that thing.

That cam definitely isn't helping anything....whats your dyno graph look like?

Are you spinning at all? Bogging? If you cant get it to launch in the powerband, you'll need to throw some new gears in it to help it off the line

regardless of cam choice, larger (numerically) rear gears will turn a lower 60' (assuming you are not spinning). Might be the best place to start.
Yes for us larger guys that screw can be a pain!

08 G8 GT, IOM, Rotofab, HSRK, Kooks LTs, track pipes, Custom engine covers, catch can, radiator cover, and tranny tunnel brace. 402hp/396tq - not bad for a bolt -on car.
    8.43 1/8th; 2.01 60' - no skillz.
