ZL1 and Bike Kills

So as part of the weekend track event, there was a roll racing section on the super long straight of the course for people that just want to mess around. I was running the no prep heads up event for $$ and once I was out of that, I did some pulls with some people on the roll race section of the track before I left.

The runs of note were a couple pulls with a ZL1 and a bike. With the ZL1 (stock I think) we started at 45 on the first run and 60 on the second run. I was running about 1200psi on the bottle so I was probably getting a little extra juice for these, but we started even on the first pull at 45 and nailed it. Took the trans a second to drop to 2nd and I pulled him up to 160. By the end of the first run, I had him by 5 cars or so. The second run, I gave him the hit and started a car behind and ended up a lot closer with edging him out by a car by 140 when we got out of it. I can only imagine his surprise...

Not sure what the bike was, but it wasn't a liter bike. It was a Ducati of some kind because it sounded like a v-twin and had the distinctive tails. Started at 40 in second and he got me up until about 75 and I blew by him at that point. I didn't take it much past 130 on that run.

It was a fun event. Wish I did as good on the money races as I did on the rolls, but the big boys were the ones running the drags.
