Check the wiring on that side, rear door where it opens. Usually breaks there from opening and closing. If its shorting it may cause the front to not work. Otherwise that channel on radio may be out

I had this slowly happen to my car more than a year ago. It started with one speaker, then spead to others. eventually the entire radio stopped working, which is the A/C too as we all know...so I only had the blowing defrost/remote start mode A/C for about 2 months. Hopefully it's not that, but IDK really. The speaker connections to the stereo are in the panel beside the glovebox. take the glovebox out...like 5 screws, and then take that plastic panel off that is beside the center console.. the stereo connections are right there. I would leave that piece off at first and press the connects back in when this issue first happened to me, and the speakers would start working again. eventually it didn't work though.
I went aftermarket with a G8 Designs install kit, Folick HVAC controller, and Pioneer deck. My FM reception is rather wonky lately....but I have bluetooth, DVD, CD, and IPOD conections, so bad FM isn't that big a deal. I think it's to do with my install and have been too lazy this hot summer to take it apart to fix it.
