Apologies for kicking up an old thread (but good thread), but I would like to apologize on behalf of the NSX community for someone to say that they had a 2005 NSX that was "tuned" to add another 50HP.
Most people that have an 02-05 (the frog eye headlights) NSX treat them as garage queens and rarely modify them since they think they have an F car.
I like everything about the NSX but the lack of TQ... especially down low. When I bought my blown Goat I was driving it all the time. the TQ and HP is like crack cocaine. NSX sat in the garage. Many times I wanted to sell it and get a C6Z, but the value of the NSX kept going up from what I paid for it (in 2007 I bought it from a friend for $24k with 35k miles on it in mint condition).
Now after my engine build and Kenne Bell 2.1 with a water cooled IC the NSX has double the power and over 100lbs more TQ to the wheels. It's a keeper.
Just need to build a garage to house a C7Z or new NSX 2.0 (made in the USA).
