Basic info on SS wheel fitment. Please let me know!
ok. so i have ready thru about 6 threads so far.. i am trying to find out some basic information about this. I have just a couple questions.. and im sure there are more than one person who can answer these.
1. Stock tires for the rear are 275 - If i went with a 265 or 255 would that be ok.. I know it would help with the rubbing at least a little
2. I have these wheels.. and want to lower the car. I am thinking Eibach or H&R.. the H&R lower about .4" more.. so im betting the Eibachs will be the safer choice (especially for the rubbing) But i like the lower stance of the H&R's.. with rolling the fenders and the smaller tires, is this achievable?
Thanks guys!

I had to roll my fenders with my 275's out back, but I'm on coilovers and sit about 2 1/2" lower than stock. I still have the occasional rub on the rear bumper's mounting screw where it meets the fender. I'd say that 265 would still need a roll unless your drop is less than an inch

If I'm reading this correctly, the stock tire for a Camaro SS is 275/40-20? If so, put a 285/35 or 285/30 on it. A 275/40-20 has an overall diameter of 28.66". A 285/30-19 is only 26.7. Yeah, your speedo will be off a bit, but it'll stop that rubbing problem.
