So I brought these to my mechanic to have him put them on when he demods the supercharger and he says they are a bad idea. I'm like WTF but apparently the concern is over 12 point heads that they either strip or strip the socket when they are loctited. I did some googling and apparently this is almost a religious debate.
I read over the ARP website and I really like how they make their fasteners to ensure good metallurgy, quality, strength, etc. But I can't help wondering why they would make them in 12 point if that's a problem.
So, A) is the 12 point a problem, and B) can they be had in hex head?

They work fine. They are only 89 inch pound. Why would you locktite the intake bolts?

That same post also says he uses blue loc-tite on the intake bolts

The factory bolts do have LocTite on them. It would not hurt anything, but I use anti-seize on stainless when screwed into aluminum.
