Like title said. I need a new battery. The stock in is at 6.6% battery charge when I got it jumped and drove home about 20 min. So I think I need to replace the stocker. Recommendations please.

I bought the Duralast from AutoZone. Many have used the battery that WalMart sells.

My daughter's 2007 Torrent has the original 7-year AC-Delco battery in it. I'm probably close to having to replace mine in the G8. Are ACDelco's batteries that good or is she just lucky? I may go with an AC Delco.

Don't forget, the batteries dying ~3 yrs in our G8s are AC-Delcos (made in Italy). But I use to regularly get 5+ yrs out of the AC-Delcos too. Also, dilaogue on the boards say that Optimas (which use to be highly rated) are crap now.

Which boards are you speaking of? Optima yellow top installed in my G8 without issue.
Walmart special. Not many things I'd skimp on for the g, but no need for an overpriced battery.
