I decided to pick up some NGK TR5IXs at my local Crappy Tire store for $20 per two plug pack. Hopefully these help some of my idle issues... I'll try to post some pics of my stock plugs when I pull them out and see what shape they are in.

BTW - Manual states a 11 ft lb (or 132 in lb) torque value for the plugs.

I would suggest that even though an NGK comes "pre-gapped" Always verify before installing (copper) and buying (iridium) It seemed like one out of four were wrong at Advance auto parts. They had quite a few in stock at the store, but I checked first (iridium) and blew through a bunch of them and had to go to a different store to get the rest. The salesman was very surprised at how bad some were. He also noted that nobody had ever bothered to check in the store or return improperly gapped irridiums. After reading this thread I think I may go with the NGK tr5 coppers... I used to use irridium, but given cost, and not 100,000 I might just do copper.

It's finally a rainy day here in ND, so plugs and a HSRK are in the works for today. I'll post pics of a winter driven/idled 6.0 with 65k miles.

Can you not gap the iridiums yourself? I always check and gap (if necessary) spark plugs of any kind (at least so far)... Trying to figure out which plug I should use with this car...
