1983 Volvo

So I had sold my '83 760 5.0 swapped Volvo to a guy from Tennessee and he came in today to pick it up. After finishing up all the paper work and everything I hopped in the G8 to lead him to the interstate. Well aware of both the capabilities of the 5.0 and the GT I decided to prod him once we got there. From a roll at 30 he pulled about 10 car lengths on me to 90 before shutting down. There is nothing more painful than selling someone one of your toys and in the same day getting spanked by it...needless to say the Mod bug has been initiated.../boring sob story

Yea unfortunately I didn't have the time or energy for such a specialized project like that. Plus after everything I did I inadvertantly turned it into a straight up drag car. I was sick for what I had to sell it for but in this market...and being in Pensacola no one has interest in those types of projects. $2300 and he was on his merry way. Drove the car 8 hours to Knoxville at about 8-9 miles per gallon haha...

Did you use to post on the corral? I remember someone posting on the corral that had a 5.0 Volvo.

I used to post on there but the flow of information kinda sucked on the old 5.0 threads. I was having issues with it running pig rich and no one could give me any insight. Turned out to be the wrong MAF sample tube and a 90* bend prior to the MAF screwing up the air flow.
