IS there anyone who is doing ECU tunes for the V6? I haven't seen any yet but would think there should be some as this engine is in a lot of GM cars.

Yeah they do it here in Oz. The low feature V6 with OTR and tune can net around 25hp at the wheels.
So i reckon you can get the V6 to 300hp at the flywheel pretty easily.
I don't think it just a GM chip as the complete engine management system is Bosch, not GM.
Menace, any contacts on those who are tuning them in Oz land? Or any idea which tuner program they are using? Thanks.

Ok this is what i've got from www.ls1.com.au i did a search for "Alloytec tune". So if you want to do some more research you can do so...
A "Russo Performance" OTR will net you around 13hp atw without a tune.
A Custom made OTR and tune from a company called BTA Motorsport will net you around 28hp atw on a Low Feature V6 so you should net more of the G8's High Feature V6.
