    Default Failed the vehicle inspection...

I haven't been on here in awhile...Haven't really done anything new to my car to make a relevant post until now. I went in for a vehicle inspection and subsequently failed The reason was: No mufflers.

I live in a county that doesn't require smog emissions tests so I figured I'd get away with it but of course I got the over achieving inspector and failed me. So I'm faced with a challenge here, I'm not one to really skimp on things but I need this corrected quickly and to be cost effective. Glasspack being the cheapest option, I know I told myself I would never do this to my car...but I'm thinking about it. I found no videos on youtube of anyone running this, there may be a good reason for that lol So honestly, how bad would it sound? I'm currently running high flow cats with straight pipes and it sounds great, not like a rice tractor or anything. These glasspacks are "the shortest" around supposedly...at 8"...am I going to have a whiney little biatch car or will i retain most of my sound. If it's the latter then great, otherwise I might just have to foot the bill and shell some more money out for some single chambers.

Let me know what you guys think.

Go to a different inspection shop that's not so strict. It's always been my experience that you can always find one place that doesn't really care what mods you have.

yeah a quick swap works. I had to do that with my tires on my old car to pass inspection.
