Anyone with the cup holder want to pop the rear seat to check the mounting of the cup holder in the frame and pad?
Go to another dealer and take one out for a test drive

The opening in the rear of the console would've been a great spot for the cuholder. My 02 Maxima has one there. Maybe someone can fabricate on that would pull out and work in that location.

    Greg,

What is the cost for the cup holder slidder? I am interested. If someone can venture in trying to define what that slot should look like.....

In this shot you can see the two tabs that I thought would have locked the holder into the seat. They are not actually holding anything. There are no other lock tabs on the unit. I would say a pretty easy install. Cut a small slot in the cover and trim the foam and glue in.

First person that wants to try will get the holder at my cost

Hey Greg, if solty does not take you up on your offer to be the first one, I'll do it. I just took my rear seats out to put down some sound deader, and it does not look that hard to install. Let me know by PM or here. Thanks

Think I will pass. If someone needs a cupholder they can use the ones in the fold down. I think they will end up only pissing me off when they spill something. Cute but not really functional.
