I keep my bass turned down because of this. I'm not trying to blow my windows out, but like to have my music add a pretty good volume when i'm cruisin.... Is there anything i can do to stop the interior deck from rattling? Anyone else have this problem? If so, fixes? :poof:

I put sound deadner in the trunk underneath the rear deack, pulled the rear seats and applied it also to all the bare metal going up to the rear deck. That got rid of mine and now it sounds alot better with no rattle. I plan on putting it in the doors when I replace the stock speakers. I notice now I only hear road noise coming from the doors and windows instead of it coming from the rear.

When you do, take some pix. I am thinking of doing this too. It is bad and REALLY takes away from the sound.

Sorry, we just dynamatted mine last week and I didn't take any pics. I went a little further. I used one whole bulk pack and took the back seat out and rear deck cover then matted the top of the deck the floor under the back seat and the wheel wells inside the trunk. Road noise is now none existent from the rear now. It will def improve things..

Anyone heard of RAAMaudio, i was thinking about lining most of my car in this stuff, much cheaper than dynamat.

I turned up my bass and thought my rear deck was the vibrating culprit. I ended up putting my ears to the third brake light cover that touches the top part of the rear window. This was the vibrating culprit. I went to my local ACE HW store and bought some foam with sticky tape. This did the trick. I put the foam onto the 3rd brake light cover plastic piece that touches the rear window glass. Originally, the 3rd brake light cover had foam from the factory on it, but I found that the amount was not enought to buffer the vibration. No more vibration. I am not saying your deck does not rattle. I am simply saying for me, the 3rd brake light cover was the rattling/vibrating piece.

That's what I have used for my two doors so far. I have the passenger doors to complete next. I am taking tomorrow off. Maybe I can get that done.

It's great stuff for the money! Just as good as DM.
