i know they dont make kits for us anymore, but i still figured this should be known... taken from another site:

Thinking of going with APS? Think again...

Read the thread: http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/forced-induction/1165816-calling-out-aps.html

Cliffs:

Turns out APS uses cheap chinese shit in all of their kits. There have been a rash of turbo failures in the F-body kits and people are finding out that they're not what they say they are. They're knock-off 20gs. This lead to more investigation and it turns out that it's all chinese shit. Add to that the custome service is a joke. When called out they've now decided they're no longer supporting American "muscle" cars i.e. the f-body, Corvette etc.

So... any of you post on a Nissan, Mitsu, or anyone else they make a kit for pass it on.

Wow that sucks! Tech has had a shitty past year when it comes to sponsorships and them screwing people over. The biggest has to have been Joe @ Six Speeds Inc, who took some 30 orders for transmissions of over $3k a piece..........and never built any, and didn't refund any money! 5 of those orders came from prople I know right here in the TX Panhandle. Now this, too bad. If it turns out to be true, APS has a lot of explaining to do!

For all we know this is just an F-body problem. Your turbos may be fine.

I hate to know the ending before reading the story. Sounds like a interesting charachter of dobious ethical and moral bearing, values and ethics. One who would be greeted at a barbeque in the panhandle of Texas warmly.:hang:

Nah we don't hang people via lynch mobs in the Panhandle anymore, we just drag 'em onto our lawn after dark and shoot 'em...... That way its legal! :)

Oh yeah! Used to sell their kits at the shop I used to work at! That was a big mess! These crooked bastards just move from company to company!
