Well it is twin turbo... I bet Ford limits boost in the first two gears for traction (and drivetrain protection) then lets it rip.

Once again edmunds was stupid and compared two cars in two different size categories. The Taurus is a large sedan, the G37 is a mid-size. Of course it is going to lose to the smaller vehicle.

That's the same freakin logic that edmunds used to say the compact sedan EVO X was a better car than the G8 GXP that is a large sedan. Great journalism.

I agree with you on the Falcon.

EPA hasn't rated it yet. I believe those are Ford's estimates. :)

That is a Ford I would buy. That or a murdered out 2010 GT500. Nothing else in their lineup does anything for me.

If they sold the F6 Typhoon or the XR6T here, I would probably not have a G8. That is a Ford turbo 6 that is VERY proven. But, it's a straight six, which IMO are better.

There was a Lincoln MKS at the drag strip the other day and he NEVER broke 101 mph trap speeds....111mph is incorrect and NOT going to happen stock.

lol here's your answer right here, gents. C/D is known for attempting to "correct" for every variable. they have a history of hating on lab testing ("That's why we here @ C/D rarely test on a dyno."), yet they try to control for three derivatives deep of a function of a given variable.

So: they lab test in the real world and we're supposed to eat it up. Bunch of enginerds trying to pass off as car guys.

*Or it could be a simple typo, I'm not one to point fingers. :D

Uhhh... The SHO does NOT get Brembos. All it gets is upgraded brake pads! One of the reasons why Ford fails when trying to give a 4400LBS sedan more power, but does not increase it's braking potential...
