I am going to take the G8 to the track on friday for the first time. My question is does the G8 have a fan mod, where I can jump a relay for the fan to stay on. It worked on my vette and my SRT8 so I don't see why not on this. If so what relay is it? Second quesition is can my vette rims fit the rear and wheel skinnys from a F body fit on the front, I wont be trying them anytime soon but want to know. Thanks

wheels are the right bolt pattern but may be a offset problem...

I believe the best way to do a fan is with a dashawk...

Dash hawk is the best/safest/easiest way for the fans...

Man, there are of ton of cool people in Maryland?

There has got to be a way that we can run a relay swich like the Dodge Charger people are doing? I saw some guy at Lapeer, MI doing this. I should have seen what he was hooking up. It was 1 wire, going to two points of contact in the big black box under the hood.

procsG8 - when you find out how to do this let me know. Running the fans on low would be great to get the car to cool down quicker. (Until I buy a dash hawk or whatever), .....

the jeep guys should just get on lxforums and look 25cent fan mod. I did it with my vette for two years. The vette and the srt8 both pick up alot when the temp is in the 140-160 range.

Can we do something like the 25 cent fan mod? That would be nice for track days! :)

Can you please, I'll give you a Mafia Wars hack..... :) lol (if I knew one...)

But seriously, your one of the demi-gods on this board maybe you could figure out what the Charger people are doing.

It's definitely a cool trick for the track..... :woohoo:

No body? With all the brain power here?

(My guess is everyone that needs to turn the fans on when the car is off has Dash Hawks.....) :(
