Wow, that Charger R/T seems awfully quick...

Per subject... was racing what I thought was a Charger R/T the other night. Started from a slight roll at the light then we gunned it. I stayed with the guy until about 80mph or so then we had to let up for a tight curve.

Evidently I'm not very observant, because I missed the SRT-8 hood scoop. What can I say, my night vision could use some work and his damn car was black. He had me by half a car when we let up.

I'm running Superchips 93 but am otherwise stock. Don't know if this is good or bad but thought I would share.

+1 there about 10-15 SRT8s in my area and none of them want to run me. There are also about 6-8 terminators running around and 1 Roush but I'm never going the same direction or I'm in my Avalanche

That same direction crap gets me all the time with those SRT8 Chargers. They're always going the opposite way. Just yesterday on the drive home on I-81 I passed a 2007 Superbee going the opposite direction. DAMN! Buet,yeah OP, good job, they're not all that much faster than a stock G8 GT anyways. But they are known to of been modded pretty damn well.

Stock the SRT8 is a low 13 - high 12 second car... they're quick, but not that quick. I'm sure with a couple of tweaks to your car you'd be running with him no problem... If I can in my TBSS I know you guys can.

Just be careful racing those SRT8 Jeeps from a dig. They are super quick out of the hole. Mine would 60' around 1.68 with stock tires and stock torque converter.

No doubt... 500hp and AWD traction can be a pretty potent combo. I'm just now with my mods able to run door to door with a stock JGCSRT8

Personally I think I surprised him a little but I was never in front of him, he just edged me out as we got near the curve.

I was yelling at my car "WTF is wrong with you it's a damn Charger" and then had to get all apologetic with her when I looked right on the curve and saw the scoop. It went from "wow this car sucks" to "holy cow did I just do that" in about two seconds.

Supercharger + Cam + 6.0L V8 usually ends in death for most cars on the road. :woohoo:

Well at least you get to play with the big boys! What do I get, a jack ass in a V6 Charger toying with me for about a mile and a half until I gave up and just let loose and left his ass. I can not get any luck with a V8 stuffed car! :hang:
