This happened several months back, but I never posted it.
I make a left off a side street and see a brand new sl63 amg. I catch up and pace him. He sees me staring and smiling and, surprisingly, he is doing the same. This strech of road is notorious for cops, so I dont want to try anything. After a mile or so, I notice he has fallen back and rolled down his passenger side window. Well come to find out at the stoplight, he was listening to my exhaust and said "it sounds like a monster". Well exchanged some niceties and neither of us notice the light is green. He looks up and guns it. I too jam it, and chirp 1-2-3, right next to him the whole time!He had a pleasantly surprised look on his face and gave me the wave as he turned onto another road.

My question is: How much was he actually giving it? He was clearly under some heavy acceleration and the exhaust sounded sublime. However, I can't imagine thats all that car has. No offense to my car, I love it to death, but those things are nasty. What do you think? What do they run?

I ran into a SL63 AMG when I was stock, we played around but never raced because we both knew what would happen. His exhaust was amazing. Those cars have a nice exhaust note.

I believe they are mid to low 12 second cars. Very expensive too.

I kept a fender on one from 70 up to 135MPH. They are mid 12 sec. cars stock.

He's lying, lol, because there is a guy at Milan Raceway that has modded the shit out of his and is running 11.6 (highly modded, over 650RWHP)

Its all about traction on them, my buddy had an e55 with a renntech tune and it ran 12.6's all day...then we put bfg drag radials on it and it clicked off 11.8 immediately. Some people run 11.9/12.0 stock...guess its all in the track prep/weather sometimes.

they rate 12.6 with a good driver....cool cars to run with...
