Pads: firmer pedal feel, shorter stopping distance, slight dust increase, some odd noises when creeping, but more fun than problem
Installation: Easiest calipers I ever worked on--one bolt off, tilt, change
Precision: good price, instant shipping and notification

BOTH recommended

Yea Hawk's have a reputation of having and increased amount of dust, but its for the better! I'll be running them once the stockers are getting bare. Now if only someone would release a slotted rotor!

Good review, thanks.

Are these the ceramic versions?

No, those are a different model, and I don't believe they add any stronger braking. HPS are the next step up...

The only reason I ask is that I think ceramic cuts down on dust some but doesn't lose performance. I'm not sure though.

Are the HPS models ceramic? That's what I have on my TA, and they still produce a fair amount of dust.

HPS are not ceramic. HPS are the racing pads, stop nice but a lot of dust.

Ok that's what I thought. Thanks for setting me straight Tom.

Just a lil clarification...

HPS is the Street Pad

HP Plus is the "race" pad

Ceramic is the Ceramic pad.

slight dust increase

LOL...HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

my stock pads would take weeks to notice any dust at all.
In two days,my rims look like I havnt washed my car in 5 years. This is NO exaggeration at all.

Stopps a little better with less fade for sure, but I am not happy with them.
just not impressed.

I got Hawk ceramic pads for my GXP from Rich at Precision. The pads are great and really reduce the brake dust. I think that they are at least as effective as the stock pads.

Rich was the only person who had the correct rear pads for the GXP. They are hard to find.

Do the ceramic pads increase the feel a good amount over the stock pads? Thats my one gripe with the braking, the complete lack of pedal feel. On the GT at least.

if you want pedal feel you needs to change to ss brake lines...

pads won't give you what you are looking for.

as far as the ceramics go... my stock pads had little to no dust after a couple of weeks. hawk ceramics are dirty as can be within 2-3 days and it turns my chrome rims a brown color from the dust.
