I am about to install THorleys- Tri-Y Headers, Yet I want to ask if anyone has had any issues with clutch/transmission lines? I am a little worried about to much heat on them burning up the fluids.

Has anyone experienced any difficulties?

Ok, So i am very impatient and drove from DC to Delaware right after the headers were installed to get RPM to tune my GXP.

The headers are amazingly easy to install.

The sound that they make with a stock exhaust is very mild, until you decide to open her up and the sound will blow you away.

After all was said and done, I Dyno'd at 405 RWHP. Will have the Dyno sheet up as soon as it is emailed to me.

If you are that worried about the heat, you can always wrap the headers or the lines.

I'm still amazed at how much more power the LS3s make as compared to the LS2s.

I wrapped my clutch line

before or after you boiled the clutch fluid?

After....

I completely flushed all of the clutch fluid out and wrapped the lines and it's been good every since.

The DT's have a ceramic coating which helps reduce under hood temperatures, but like 99-LS1-SS said, I would wrap the lines rather than the header.
