Those racing stripes down the driver's side hood have me thinking...hmmmmmm, think that'd transfer well over to a GXP? Maybe add some fender stripes from Grafxwerx. Just throwing out suggestions, oh and that is one sweet car. A damn shame we can't get a superhcargerd version of the Holden's we love so dear over here.

That's the standard Nav position for even the cheapest Holden VE.

The reason USA didn't get it there is that Pontiac didn't get involved in the design process for VE and only said they definately wanted a US spec VE (G8)until after production VE's were already on the road in Aus.

The Holden NAV position is too low below the windshield to pass USA rules and regs. You can also blame Pontiac (for not getting involved early enough in the design) for lack of other USA specific wants like XM radio.

[You can't really blame Holden for not designing in all the specific USA requirements into the VE platform (prior to 2006) just in case the car got sold in USA someday.]

Traditionally the Vauxhalls have all been based on the Clubsport. Visually you can tell because the GTS has a black hood protector strip (horizontal bar above the top grille) whereas the Clubsport has body colour hood protector strip.

Red Hot, Phantom Black, Evoke, or Heron White.

If we're gonna blame anyone for the car restrictions, blame the the nationl traffic and safety board (or whatever they call themselves), they are the ones who come up with half assed ideas to protect idiotic drivers who shouldn't be driving in the first place, hence "its too far below the windshield". Everyone give California and its "protect the mentally incompetent" beliefs!!! hahah

Of course, as with anything electronic, there has to be a way around it... Should be able to reflash one of our units and make it do the same basic thing. As far as the XM radio, they gave me an mp3 capable unit, and an input jack... I can listen to whatever I need to

I can't find any info on the headlights only the standard blurb about them being "Projector" lights and not reflective lights.

The small lower bulb is for Parking Lights.
The Holden SS-V has them also.
