View Full Version : GXP Brakes... Where do they rub?

Where do the GXP rotors rub on GT 19's? Is it just at the ends of the calipers or does the face hit the back of the wheel spokes? Anyone have any info here? Grinding possible to get them to not rub? I don't care about the powder coat...
I am told that you can run a spacer and get them to work, which would indicate that it ias the back of the spokes that is making contact

It takes an expensive spacer... at least to do it right... the factory lugs aren't long enough with a thick enough spacer. The caliper hits on the inside bulge of the piston casing

It's the back of the wheel spoke that will rub. Machining the wheel might be a better option
