View Full Version : What wheels fit GXP brakes?

Does anyone have a suggested wheel to use when running the GXP Brembo brakes on a GT? I would like to go with the smallest possible wheel so that I can have more tire options. 19" is very limited for tires. I like the Dunlop star spec series tires. They have good track performance and I can use them as a daily driver too.

There is a thread on the G8 board about GXP wheels, new, for something like $299 each. Or, go to tirerack and look at 09 GXP wheels, especially in the winter section. There they have smaller sizes.

Check out the Hankooks as well. They came in second behind the Dunlops and are considerably cheaper I believe.

If there were GXP wheels available for a reasonable price, I would buy them. I really like the look. So I am forced to look elsewhere and I am looking for some good ideas at a fair price.

Tirerack has like 4 20" rims.

im def willing to sell the GXP rims, but cant find 20" replacements that i like yet. I like the HSV GTS wheels the most, but i want alloy colored, dont really want the grey. plus, they are pretty expensive.
