Dumb question #1. All those who race their G8... Are you putting it in Sport or Manual? And where's the rev limiter kick in in Manual?

Dumb question #2. How the hell do you turn the fog lights on? lol

Thanks!

1- Sport or drive, anything but manual. Rev limiter is 6300 on stock tune as I recall.

2- Pull headlight switch.

I use Sport mode as the shifts don't happen quick enough in Manual. My rev limit with my cam is 6800 in Sport and 7000 in Manual.

I could be mistaken but I don't believe its possible to have different limiter settings based on shift mode, only gear (1st can be different than 2nd, etc).

It could be possible in software other than HPTuners maybe?

You would have to ask Dan @ Livernois. That's who set mine.

Tom my normal mode is 6500, sport is 6650(needs to be 6850 adjusted by mph) and my manual is 7100(so I can not hit the limiter). If I manually shift at 6600 it shifts at 6850ish.

Shift points can be different in the modes but the limiter can't, at least in HPT it can't. Actually I should say if it can, I don't see how.

Correct.
