went last night and met a bunch of great fellow board members, track was englishtown raceway park, it was humid as hell and hot to go along with it, i had a great time either way although i though my times would be better for the mods, anyways here are the times and slips! all of my times are in the right column, i am car #729

run 1 - 7:29 pm
r/t - .444
60' - 2.155
330 - 5.808
1/8 - 8.778
mph - 82.73
1000 - 11.318
1/4 - 13.466
mph - 104.07

run 2 - 8:29 pm
r/t - .125
60' - 2.150
330 - 5.764
1/8 - 8.709
mph - 83.41
1000 - 11.231
1/4 - 13.369
mph - 104.78

run 3 -10:33pm
r/t - .946
60' - 2.133
330 - 5.753
1/8 - 8.695
mph - 83.53
1000 - 11.210
1/4 - 13.319
mph - 106.46

the runs got better as i went, the temp didnt change much neither did the humidty, but i did spin the tires less on the final run, i launched at 1000 rpm and didnt floor it right away, i also help 3rd gear on the last run.....traction is damn hard to get on the stock tires, hopefully by the next time i head out to the track i will have drag radials. also i must say that fstg8's g8 is sweet with that supercharger, makes me want one sooo bad but unfort. i cant afford it lol.. everyone else had awsoem rides too:)...but everyone else seemed to be saying their times were very slow, so im hoping maybe when the weather cools down and if i can launch correctly maybe i can run a 12.99 or better!!!

You improved with each run, good job!

If your sticking with the stock size, I suggest Nitto Invos when it's time to replace.

Nice driving! Anytime you can go faster each pass you are headed in the right direction.

For the conditions, those are very good times. I was outside for maybe an hour last night and I could barely breath it was so humid. First thing that popped into my head was you guys down at the track lol. Especially since it was your first time racing also. NICE JOB! You do your runs in sport mode or regular drive mode? Traction on or off?

thanx guys......sport mode with tc off, i was spinning alot through first gear and the 1-2 chirp was pushing my rear out a little further then i would have liked......it wasnt until the 3rd run that i realized i needed to hold 3rd gear cuz i was losing some mph's do to the fact it was shifting into 4th before the 1/4 mark

You did great the first time out and comparing our times from last night, I would say you are right where you should be. We have just about the same mods. Good times and hope the trek back to LI was faster than coming.

well they would have been but they were doing highway construction just past the verrazano so it took about 2 1/2 hrs home, which is better than 3 1/2 there lol!!!

Good job. My 1st run has always been my best. I guess I do things backwards.
