Hello just letting everyone know that every sunday there will be racing for street cars 12,13, second class for prize money my buddies have set it up for us to have grudge matches and winner takes all sort of like a pinks if you will ..........50.00 dollars get you in and winner takes all............but what i decided to do was have a G8 shoot out just for bragging rights........ let me know who's all in......:woohoo:

I had a great time meeting all of you. To bad we didnt get to run a few more times. My best two runs were 12.876 and 12.876...lol and mph were almost identical 103.78, 103.58.The DA was 2684 thats why all our mph are gonna seem really slow. It started raining so we really didn't get many runs in. Nobody raced for money we were all just having some some fun. It was a great time. I hope we do it again soon and some more people come out next time. Rednismo gave me a nice little butt kicking on the highway on the way home...LOL

One thing that i did prove last night is if you want to go fast it's a good idea to get a new converter. I beat cars much faster than mine just because I got a huge jump out of the hole.

I actually was running at full trim with my luggage from the weekend down at Houston as well as all the other crap I keep in the car. I ended up weighing 4280 with driver... at least I had the good sense not to fuel up.

Fiveoh's "stock time" which is documented is 13.409 (and that is before his mod's)

I have to step in here. 1. You did bring this on yourself 2. Most that want to challenge you are a few hundred miles away, so its not just "show up or shut up". 3. I went through a similiar situation being the 1st to run 12s. No slip, however I didnt take quite the bashing you are as you wont let it go or produce a slip. I hate seeing this happen as a lot of us have become friends.

well there were 5 other guys out there so if u don't believe it oh well. None of us had great times so why post a slip. If you don't believe my times go lookon the fastest 1/4 mile times. I don't plan on posting any slips unless I beat my best time.

I thought about it yesterday and thats why I posted what I did. There comes a point in life when we all need to man up and be men.

If you want to post a time with no slip, expect some drama. I have met 1 of the parties and PMd the other. These things will happen. I prefer not to lock or delete threads especially when its about a timeslip.

2. I think most hope he did run the time so they can cut costs on mods as most only want to run 12s.

Ok, I agree and just let it ride. I'll just be a observer at this point. I hope he can eventually post the time he stated, it won't be in the heat for sure. We did have one of the guy's with the same mods post his slip at 13.06, thats respectable and definetly pretty good for what he's done. He ran his in the spring when it was cool. Its fun to go to the strip in the summer, but, don't expect great times. My old nova that ran in the 9.70's, never in the heat of the summer until I switched over to alky, then it was much closer, on gas it was always 2-3 tenths and several mph slower.

Most people want to run 12s until they do it... then 11s..... then 10s.....

Personally I dont really consider my car a 12 sec car unless it will run 12s all the time every day. I'd hate to run a 12.8 on a perfect day go around telling people I had a 12 sec car then get my ass whooped by a car that runs a 12.8 in 90 degree weather. :)

It was my personal best, but hey it was the fourth time I have ever gone down a quarter mile...

Actually the name of the thread is under 1/4 mile runs. The only place I see post your time slips is in the post ur time slips thread. I don't think it is really neccessary to post a slip if it's not your personal best. My personal best is 12.65 so why would I waste my time posting a 12.87. I figured people would believe since I ran a 12.65. I didn't even plan on posting my times until we were all called out. Then I posted the times and I figured that would be ok without a slip since my personal best is better than the time I posted.
