Both sound like they'll be good races. I would be more worried about the grand prix rather than the GTO though. Better bring all you got to race the GTP....while a motor-motor race with the GTO should be a close one. Good luck with both races!

To many variables....run them and find out. I've owned both a modded GTO and now the G8 and both have their advantages and disadvantages.

The GP is going to depend on exact mods and the tune. Its capable of high 11's without the shot of nitrous. I would bet that you'll need nitrous yourself to beat it.

pulley swap and cam is pretty vague. Is the GTP intercooled? What do you consider small shot of n20? From a dig or roll? From a dig if the GTP has enough power to run 11s or 12s even drag radials won't save it from tire spin and you'll get the hole shot.

My 12.1 second SSEi (same motor as GTP) was crushed by Scott's G8 simply because it is impossible to launch on the street. From a roll may be a different story.
