Ever since Ed (G8V8) talked to me about his Pedders and gave me about the best description you could get over the phone on how it would make the car handle I have wanted to be Pedderized. Now with a huge thanks to Rob @ Wretched MotorSports I have a killer foundation. I have the Street I kit, Xtreme Sub-Frame bushing kit, Differential bushing kit, All the upper and lower control arm bushings for rear, Steering rack mount, Rear inner toe-link and lock washer kit. Now that I have held them and inspected them, I see why people speak so highly of Pedders products. Now all I need is electricity at the shop so I can get started! Here is a teaser pic:

Nice, I'm making a list for future mods and pedders is at the top :)
Hopefully pricing will come down by the time I get my future vehicle.

Once you see the quality and feel the difference, cost wont even be an issue.

Thats why you pick the right pieces to start with. I didnt do struts or springs yet because I wanted to get rid of all the flex and looseness 1st.

I'm sure you'll be happy with it.

You will too once I can give you the feedback on the rear pieces especially.

Outstanding Charlie. I wish I could see the grin on your face when you drive it after installing these pieces.

Charlie,....

Just give us an "HONEST" assessment of mods,(when you get them installed)....relative to their "real" cost.... I know I will be doing the Street kit this winter.... but my bank account already doth protest.... (I realize it's worth it.... but......)

Also tell us if there is anything we can install ourselves, without a lift & a press.

(am saving up my pennies for a second G8 with a Magnacharger - want an Aussie CTS - V with equal/better handling (Pedders)and more interior room for about $20-25K LESS) AND..... NO... I...DRIVE!!!!!!! BMW SUX...

You know I will. I am very impressed with the quality. I have installed tons of aftermarket suspensions in this life and for Pedders to have such a complete kit is amazing.

Charlie, you can drive mine. It's fast, and it corners. :)
When you get it done, you'll feel how soft the rear shocks really are.
Springs help, but it doesn't hide the fact that the rear dampers are soft.

I might be going with a more drag race oriented struts and springs. You know me, If its a tenth or 2 I gotta have it. I really like the Pedders coil overs.

Looks like a good start, let me know if you have any questions during the install, you have my cell number, just give me a call.

You can do the X-member bushings with the car on jack stands and the diff supported on a jack. Caster correcting washers are real easy. I did mine myself with the car on stands. Springs and struts are like any other though the assembly must be done correctly because the springs must be clocked to the right position. No big deal, just something to be aware of.

I look forward to Charlie's opinion also. I know of nobody with a Pedderized G8 who thinks they wasted money.

I am closely monitoring this thread as I value Charlies opinion. He was accurate and honest on the catback. I have kicked this pedders idea around for both of my Pontiacs, I mean Holdens. LOL. Call me selfish but I really hope Charlie gets power SOON!

sounds like a plan! I have plenty of bunk space. I'll trade rent for mods to the car...(my wife would love that! LOL)
