Apparently there is a market for the world famous penguin skid-pad mod.
I'll do a few pics. It is very easy to do.

I would just use touch-up paint and be done with it unless it's a show car or something.

...if you replace the G8 with an H2, you could post on this site (http://www.fuh2.com/).

You should see my bumper... It's been hit twice now... I've all but given up trying to keep it nice. It's hard to when I have so many issues with it. I've lost the love... lol
The girl in the bikini is probably his 14 year old daughter so you better watch what you say...

I will start a new thread "Front bumper skid plates 101".
FWIW I have not scraped or scratched the front of the car since I put these on.

Shit, I didn't even notice she was in the pic. There was a time when I would've been the first person to notice something like that. I'm losing my pervert touch.
That's definitely NOT my 14 year old daughter. That's my 19 year old girlfriend. But, I appreciate the sentiment.
Touch-up paint is a definite no-no. I don't use it....on anything...for any reason. My car may never be a show car, but I'll always treat it as such. You get back from your car what you put into it (usually).
As far as the Holden route, well, let's just say the front bumper isn't going to work for my plans. I thought about getting a GXP bumper, but it isn't different enough to warrant going through the grille fiasco I'm going through again.
