Any recomendations for a body shop in Houston? All I need is to get my mustangs frame checked to see if its bent. Would strongly prefer a shop in katy/sugarland/richmond area, as the cars inspection is 5 years old and I dont want to drive too far. :secret:

Digging up an old thread. I would like to have my bumpers repainted. The front bumpers' paint is actual cracked and I want to remove the license plate. Can anyone recommend a great paint and body shop? Preferably one you've used or seen the work yourself. Recommendations can include greater Houston area.

I'll ask "around" to see if the guy who did Fidels bumper is available. If you can wait, mine needs redone in the winter. I'm sure we can work a deal. After all, that IOM paint IS NOT CHEAP!!!!

The rear bumper can probably wait. However the front needs to be done pretty soon. The paint's cracked. I can actually pull pieces of paint off the bumper. Let me know if you find him. Thanks.

I'm thinking of getting mine redone and then pay the bucks to get a clear bra for the front bumper

My original clear bra was 575.
My paint guy is not taking any side jobs currently. Sorry. I've been watching the thread about Dupont Chroma Premier paint. Think that's the way I'm going next. The damn PPG chips off very easily.

One point to consider is the checking of paint condition and other changes that have been integrated. Aside from checking the wheels, rims, hubcaps, bumpers, and the likes, it is important to see through the body panels (http://www.carpartswholesale.com/cpw/body_panel.html)

Not sure what that has to do with a body shop in Houston but thanks for the info.

Damn spammer troll. Two posts, both of which are completely unintellegable. Who mods the Texas section?

Just got my GXP bumper painted this weekend. They charged me 250 for paint and 300 if I wanted it installed. I picked it up today and it looks good. This shop is by 610 and telephone.

Kustom werks in the Woodlands is great! The owner has a sick 2010 Camaro and is real big in the custom truck scene. http://kustomwerxautobody.com/

Where did you get your parts for the conversion? Did you buy them here in town or online. I am ready to pull the trigger on it but not sure where to do it. Thanks.

I actually got them for a trade. But call classic chevrole in sugarland they had the front bumper at one time. They may still have it.
