looking to improve my dismal 14.06 run time.

Traction on/off?
Sport shift on/off?
Tire Pressure, set it @ 27-28?

I have a Charger R/T to beat down next friday. A guy from my unit swears he can take me now with his CAI and cat-back installed. I know different, but it never hurts to be prepared. All I have installed so far is my Roto-Fab CAI, doing a tune in 2 weeks at SNL if the have an opening. But even stone-stock i should be able to handle this guy right?

I refuse to listen to a mopar fag talk shit at work for the rest of my life.

TC off
Sport Shift
Tire pressure around 27-30 psi
Launch from idle or around 1100 rpms

thats what I thought, but I read in someone elses post about how he actually got better times with the tranny in regular mode.

I've read that too, maybe you should try it both ways?

I don't have great times either, due to the weather here in Memphis when I ran.

Pop your driver side lower grill out and cut the back side of the blocked part of the grill next to your driver light. That will drive more air into your CAI.

you might want to try to launch with t/c on then once you stick hit it off. I have ran better times with t/c on on street tires. Also dont forget to hold 3rd as long as you can. Just tap it to manual mode when it fixing to shift to 4th it will hold 3rd.

Ive had no change is times with tc on or off. I launch at 1100 and just pretty much mashed it. 28-30 psi in the rear....Do a small burnout but not in the water.

All depends on the tune. Some are faster in D, others in S.

TCS off, Normal mode, rear tires at 30, fronts at 50. Leave at the last yellow, from idle. You might spin a bit. Just back out of the throttle slightly. These settings netted my best times before tune. Temp also has a large effect. I ran an 8.5 1/8th in 78 degree temps, and a 9.0 1/8th in 95 degrees. The 9.0 resulted in a 13.8 1/4.
Kill a Charger!

Maybe me...Vectors standard trans tune has normal set up for faster harder shifts. TC off 1000 rpm launch. Not sure about a stock trans tune maybe sport??
