Does anyone know if you just get a dash board light or does the DIC also pop up with a warring every time you start the car?

What is TPMS? I know what PMS is but not TPMS. What does the T stand for. I may have to go ask my wife.

I saw pictures somewhere. It does nag you on the DIC. It is like the Low Fuel indicator.

I asked this quite some time ago because I didn’t want to make the investment, but I got all four for < $80 on eBay. It was worth it in my opinion. I don't need any more bright lights in my face while driving around (Atari gauges and Passenger Air Bag is plenty).

I did it all winter.... The DIC comes up and you just enter out of it but the yellow light will blink on the dash for a couple minutes and then lock into solid yellow. I never had ONE issue all winter.

No way to turn it off with a tuner either from what I can find.

I did hear of a solution: Pressure rated PVC, with four sensors, sealed and pressurized to 35 psi and kept in the trunk. Swap wheels as often as you'd like no fuss.

Well I ordered my new wheels - they were supposed to come with TPMS installed. THen I took the car to do the Recall and they said "No TPMS in there." I wasn't real happy with the aftermarket guys who sold me the wheels. But the dealer somehow turned the light off for me.

If you take your dash apart... and use black electrical tape to block out the TPMS emblem.... NOOO....Problem......

As for the chimes and all the audio alerts... one uses # 742 ear plugs!!!!!
