Cold start issues

My 09 1/2 G8 GT runs rough for the first 15 seconds when it is started cold (after sitting at least 5 or 6 hours). While this is happening, I also hear a squealing type of noise - it starts 2 or 3 seconds after the engine is running, and lasts for about 10 seconds. Any ideas? The car is bone stock with about 500 miles on it, and has been doing it since new (2 weeks ago).

I would take it in to the dealer as its so new and leave it overnight and let them inspect both issues.

I believe the squeal/whine is normal. The other board has a lot of posts devoted to it and it seems that most people have it. However, the rough idle might warrant a trip to the dealer.
